So I'm so, so sorry I haven't posted in like....literally, like forever. But I've been working a ton and haven't had much chance to craft lately besides doing some paintings. But I am posting a card tonight because I actually got around to editing the photos of it! :D

So I created this by sticking a bunch of washi tapes all over a sheet of cardstock, then cutting a bunch of circles from that cardstock.

I adhered them to the card and added a stamped sentiment. :)

So anyways, I've been loving my job soooo much. It's fun, and I actually miss being there when I get a lot of days off XD hehe

That's all for now! I think I'm gonna go paint.

Papercrafts & Scrapbooking Magazine Special Thanks Blog Hop

Hello. I seriously never, ever thought I would be writing a post like this. Not once did I imagine something like this would happen.
Papercrafts & Scrapbooking magazine is closing. (after the February issue I believe)
I couldn't believe it when I read the e-mail. I was shocked. I remember I think seeing something on Facebook about PC&S so I went and checked my e-mail and saw the news. Ouch.
I was shocked and almost not believing it at first.
It's really sinking in now. I'm going to miss all Papercrafts and Scrapbooking magazine so, so much. I'm not really good with words like this, but just know that I'm heartbroken.
I just wish it was some kind of nightmare, or that they would change the decision to shut down (which I know is not possible, but I just wish it so hard!).
I still can't believe I'm writing these words. I won't really ever be able to accept that PC&S is just....gone.
The magazine and the people who made it happened really helped to hold the whole papercrafting community together. They were like glue.
I just want to send a giant goodbye *hug* to everyone at Papercrafts and Scrapbooking magazine.  Thank you so, so much for everything you have done. You will be deeply missed.

So I have a card that I made for the hop today (excuse the bad photos)...

I'm not going to share about how I made the card and such, I just want it to be here for you to look at as like a farewell/thank you gift.

Also, I worked with Taheerah and made a farewell slideshow in case you'd like to see it:

You should have come here from Laine Webb  and you will be headed to Melania Deasy next.

Again, thank you SO much Papercrafts & Scrapbooking. <3 <3 <3

And thank you to Taheerah for putting this together! :)

Purple Bliss

Bonjour everyone! :D (Sorry I haven't posted in a while!)
I just want to say I am so, so sad to hear about Papercrafts and Scrapbooking magazine shutting down. :( I felt awful when I heard the news. I'm going to miss everyone so much. :,(

Anyway, I have a card to share! I've been stenciling like crazy lately, so here's a card using some stenciling!

I stenciling the lines and "bliss" on some cardstock, (with watercolors I think? Either that or gelatos hehe I can't remember!) which I trimmed and adhered to a card base that I painted some purple streaks on.

I added some gemstones and splattered some green color mist on top and also a piece of washi tape! :D

I got a job as a cashier at a really nice grocery store! I start Monday and I'm quite excited! :D
Today I went skiing! It was beautiful!

That's all for me!

Have a great weekend!

You are my Sunshine

Hey all! Soooo this evening I have a very shiny, sparkly gold card to share with you. Take a look!

The above photo lets you get a good look at how shiny the card is. :)

I made a gold background using some ink and water. It's actually quite easy, and gives a lovely effect when it's all dried. The sun rays and sentiment are embossed, and the gold sparkly strips are decorative tape.

Have a loverly evening my dear followers! It snowed here today, so I am quite happy. Maybe I can go skiing soon!

Blue Chevron Hello

So I don't think I had much of an idea where I was going when I made this card, but it turned out pretty well regardless! :D

I stenciled the little chevron pattern, then stenciled the "hello" on top. Layered stenciling, oh yeah! :D

The black splatters were done with some high-flow black acrylic. Beautiful stuff, that. Expensive though, but just wonderful! I'm going to need to buy another bottle.

That's all for me! I'm popping off for now!
Have a lovely evening dear followers!

Happy Mail!

Aloha my followers! Today I've got a Happy Mail card! Hehe I think I should mail this to one of my friends, it's such a fun and cheery card.

I made this card a looonggggg time ago, like in last year hehe. I submitted it to Papercrafts Magazine...well it was still Papercrafts magazine back when I submitted it.

I stamped the stars on the card, and also on the vellum pocket, which I adhered to the card with the cardstock strips. I also added the "happy mail" sentiment in black.

Have a lovely evening!

So this card doesn't exactly have a sentiment that makes sense. But, I made it awhile ago and have no idea why I didn't do a better one. But I think the card itself is pretty cool, so here it is:

I did rotated using die cut sun rays and stamping some rays right on the card.

And now ya can see that horrid sentiment. Well, not horrid, but it doesn't make sense. What use would most people have for a card that only says "sunshine?" Hehe, but whatever. I still love the card. :)

I have a bit of a cold today, which means I wasn't able to craft at all. Ugh. Oh well. Perhaps tomorrow I'll be better.
For now I'm just going to relax and watch something I think.

'Tis all for me now!
