Happy Friday!

Sorry I haven't posted for awhile, but I've been busy making cards for Paper Craft's magazines Stamp It! Cards call for submissions, and I'm beginning to make cards for Paper Craft's Stamping Royalty Contest. Yesterday I got some new ink, cardstock and a sentiment stamp set from Hero Arts...and I already used it! I made 2 cards last night. But...since they are going to be submittted to Paper Crafts Magazine...I can't show them here, but here is a card I made awhile ago.

It uses a stamp(the peppermint) from a Christmas Stamp set from Inkadinkado.
It could be used as a birthday card, or a Christmas Card!
I hope to make some more cards this evening and tomorrow. For those of you going to craft this weeked also...have fun!

Party store supplies for cards

Today I have a card to share that was created for Paper Craft's Magazine Call for submissions sometime last year, and it was not picked. It was for the category "party store supplies on cards" or something like that. The silver things the cupcakes are attached to are plastic silverware! And there is some crepe paper at the top of the card too. So here it is...

Celebrate Candy Card

For this card, I stamped the candies and the sentiment then colored them with a Q-tip and then added clear glitter glue to the candies.

More Cards!

I just found a couple more cards I want to enter in the Paper Smooches Guest Designer contest/challenge. Sorry for all the posts, but it will be over soon! These might have been posted here before, but if they were I think they were in the same post, so I have to re-do them in different posts for the Paper Smooches Guest Designer contest/challenge. is another card.

You Make Life Sweet Card

For this card, I added "sugar" (clear chunky glitter) to the top of the cupcake and below the sentiment.

Somebirdy Special Card

I paper pieced the wings and feet on this cute little owl. The nest is stamped on brown paper and then cut out and added to the scene. I added color to the branch and around it using a Q-tip. I like how there is a lot of blank space on this card. It was kind of scary leaving it like that, but I love the results!

Great Taste Card

In this card, I colored and cut out the glass of lemonade and then put the card together and added clear glitter glue to the glass to make it look like real glass.

Country Pies Card

I took the doughnut from the Paper Smooches Sugar Rush set and turned it into a pie! I used a pen for the lines that turn it into a pie.  I like the country look of the card.

Cupcake Card

I gave you a couple photos with different colored backrounds, because no certain color seemed great with it. I colored the bottom of the cupcake, and paper pieced the top and the candle. The blue circles are stamped on the inside of the card, which gives a nice effect.

Ice Cream Card

This card is different with the purple ice cream cone going over the edge. It’s not balanced. But I like it like that. And the blue gemstones give it a lovely finish.

Great Taste Doughnut Card

Yum! Doughnuts! I made this card a while ago…so I don’t remember too much about it. I paper pieced the tops of the doughnuts in the column on the left of the card.

Pretty Peacock Card

This card has an interesting color combination. I mean blue, purple, yellowish brown, green and red? That's just how it worked out. But I love coloring images with Q-tips! The end result comes out very nicely. I had a lot of fun coloring this peacock with Q-tips. And this is the card I made with the colored peacock. Yet another stamp Kim Hughes designed for Cornish Heritage Farms.

Love Birds Card

This card was pretty simple to make. I stamped the birds, then stamped them on pink cardstock, cut them out, added color with a Q-tip and added them to the card. Then I added the baker’s twine, brads and stamped “Love Birds.”
More stamps Kim Hughes designed for Cornish Heritage Farms.

I Love You Panda Bear Card

This card has two photos because either with or without the flash the photo didn’t look right. So I’m showing you both. This is a fairly simple Valentine’s Day card. I love the little “I Love You” card or whatever it is supposed to be. A nice clean and simple card. Again, this is a stamp Kim Hughes designed for Cornish Heritage Farms.

You Warm My Heart Card

This card is a little similar to the one before. It’s a Valentine’s Day card. This stamp is also one Kim Hughes designed for Cornish Heritage Farms. I think it is so adorable. I’m very pleased with the end result.

Rainbow Soda Pop Card

This card turned out beautifully. I paper pieced the soda pop. That took some pretty serious, detailed cutting. Then I did the layering of all those colors of cardstock, adhered everything to the card and punched the corners.
