CAS-ual Fridays: Winter Blues (4th entry)

Here is my 4th, and last entry for the current CAS-ual Fridays challenge.

For this card, I again used nail polish. I put some nail polish on the card, and then turned the card upright so the nail polish could run. After I let it sit like that for a bit, I splattered some more nail polish on top of it. After it dried some, I added a piece of white cardstock towards the top of the card to cover any stray drops of polish, and added a strip of blue cardstock and a sentiment.

CAS-ual Fridays: Winter Blues (3rd entry)

Here is my 3rd entry for the current CAS-ual Fridays challenge.

I used nail polish to created the "snow" flurries on this card. I love it when I can use something for another purpose besides what it is intended for. I do use a lot of it on my nails though... :)

So I put lots of nail polish drops on the card, and added a sentiment on a strip of cardstock.

CAS-ual Fridays: Winter Blues

I am here with a card for the current CAS-ual Fridays challenge.

The theme is to create a winter project with blue! And blue is my favorite color, so I loved this challenge!

I cut out 4 white paper rectangles...they are pretty close to squares, but no exact.
Then I stamped them with stamps from Maile Belles stamp set, Snowflake Flurries.

I trimmed one of the stamped rectangles to fit the sentiment, and adhered the rectangles on the card and stamped the sentiment.

CASE Study Challenge #118 (2nd entry!)

Here is my 2nd entry for the current CASE Study Challenge.

Here was the beautiful card that was the inspiration, by the talented Angeline Yong.

It's pretty easy to see how I CASEd Angeline's card. I loved the layout/design on the card, so I decided to use that on my card. I stamped the leaves/branches and a sentiment. And it's all one layer. My favorite :)

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We were going to go to my aunt and uncle's house, but I got sick so we stayed home. We had a nice day though, except for me being sick. I mostly just hung out on the couch.

CASE Study Challenge #118

Hello again! I have a card for CASE Study Challenge #118.

Here was the gorgeous card, by Angeline Yong, that was the inspiration:

I was inspired by the way the leaves and such were stamped on Angeline's card. I like how some of the images were kinda faded and lighter, while others were dark. So I stamped the doilies on the card like that, with the doilies getting lighter at the bottom of the card. I added a sentiment and some pearls to finish it off.

I decided to do a winter card. I stamped and masked the snowflakes and line, and added a sentiment. I then put the card together and added some gemstones.

CAS-ual Fridays 78: (take 2!)

Here is my 2nd entry for this week's CAS-ual Fridays challenge.

I tore the side of the card, trimmed the inside edge so only the front of the card front is torn, and stamped the stars. Then I tore a piece of white cardstock, stamped it with the "miss you..." sentiment and adhered it to the card front. And I really love the way this turned out!

CAS-ual Fridays 78

Hello!

I have a card for this week's CAS-ual Fridays challenge!

The theme this week was to have something torn on your project.

I tore the green and black cardstock, and trimmed a piece of metallic gold cardstock. I adhered green, black and gold cardstock together, adhered it to the card and stamped the sentiment.

Young Crafter's Unite Challenge #15: Warm and Cozy Colors-take 3!

Here is my 3rd, and last entry for the Young Crafter's Unite Challenge #15: Warm and Cozy Colors.

I really love the way this card turned out.

I stamped the snowflakes or designs, actually whatever you want them to be, on the card front in lots of "warm" colors. I did lots of "layered" stamping, stamping on top of already stamped images. I love to do that, but you can't do it with every stamp set, and this set (Snowflake Flurries, by Maile Belles from Papertrey Ink) is one set you can do it with and it looks wonderful!

Young Crafter's Unite Challenge #15: Warm and Cozy Colors

Hello again!

I am playing along with a challenge I've never played along with before.  It the Young Crafter's Unite Challenge. And the theme is Warm and Cozy colors.

So I stamped the leaves in 2 shades of brown, and the sentiment in the darker brown. Very simple and CAS.

CAS-ual Fridays: Snips, Snails and Puppy Dog Tails!

Hello!

I would like to say a HUGE thank you to CAS-ual Fridays for picking one of my cards as a favorite 2 weeks ago. I was super excited when I saw it! Thanks so much!

And I also have some news...last Thursday I got an e-mail from Susan Opel from Papercrafts magazine, and I am going to have 2 cards published in Papercrafts magazine for the first time ever!!!! I could not believe it! And another one of my cards was nominated for Reader's choice- HERE.

Today I am here with an entry for this week's CAS-ual Fridays challenge, which is masculine cards/projects.

Sorry for the bad pictures...

I stamped the stripes using PTI's Backround Basics: Super Stripes set, which has so many possibilities.

Then I stamped a sentiment from PTI's Masculine Motifs set.
Cardstock is from Recollections/Michaels and ink is from Papertrey Ink.

And I'm sorry I've haven't been on commenting on blogs! We've been kinda busy. Hopefully I can go and catch up soon!
