CAS-ual Fridays: Round of Applause (take 4!)

Here is my 4th entry for the current CAS-ual Fridays challenge. The challenge was to make an accomplishment card with at least one circle.

I punched a bunch of circles from white cardstock, then stamped them with the dot circles. I then adhered them to card, some with foam tape. I stamped a sentiment to finish the card.

CAS-ual Fridays: Round of Applause (take 2!)

Here is my 2nd entry for this week's CAS-ual Fridays challenge. The theme was to make an accomplishment card with at least one circle. That actually was quite a challenge for me.

For this card I stamped the wreath and berries, and then the sentiment. And to finish it up I cut the one corner.

CAS-ual Fridays: Round of Applause

I've got my first entry for this week's CAS-ual Fridays challenge, which was to use at least one circle and make it a card for an accomplishment.

So for this card I stamped the diamonds on a bunch of circles, then figured adhered them to the card and stamped a sentiment. I'm hoping "You Did It" qualifies for making the card for an accomplishment.

A few days ago I went to a Hobby Lobby for the first time...and wow! I love that store. There is like 5 aisles of paper crafting supplies...and I think the prices are a bit cheaper than Michaels or A.C. Moore. I can't wait to go back! :)

CAS(E) This Sketch #10 (take 3!)

Here is my 3rd entry for the current CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge. Here is the beautiful sketch:

And here is my card:

I really love the way this card turned out. I know it's kinda fall-ish looking, but I love the color combo of the brown and red.

So I stamped the red leaves, then the brown ones, and finished the card off with a sentiment.

And it's all one layer! :)

CAS(E) this Sketch #10

Hello again. Here is my 2nd post today, and I have a card for the current CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge #10. Here is the lovely sketch:

I am pretty happy with the way this turned out. I think it's pretty easy to see how I CAS(E)d the sketch!

I stamped the moon and the stars and then the sentiment.
Easy and CAS.

The snow is all gone here. We had a bunch of it over Christmas/New Years and for awhile but it has all melted, sadly. :(

By the way, did anyway see the Hobbit? I've seen it 3 times. Yep, I'm a big Lord of the Rings fan.

Just a Card...

Hello. I have a card to share today. Not for any challenge or anything, but I really liked the way it turned out so I thought I would post it.

I simply stamped the globe image and then the sentiment. I love how the globe is in a soft color, so you can't see it very well.  I also rounded the corners for a finishing touch.

But anyway, I went downhill skiing on Thursday. It was lots of fun. And a great day for it too. I didn't have to even wear a jacket most of the time.

I also cut my foot/big toe on Saturday. We have a bit of unfinished flooring where the bathroom door is, where it transitions from laminate to linoleum, and there is just the edge of the laminate and the linoleum, with nothing on the edge of them to tie them together, from when we get laminate flooring installed this summer. So I was coming out of the bathroom and kinda slipped and that made my foot slam very hard into the edge of the laminate flooring. Well, it sliced my toe and put a smaller cut on my foot. Nothing too bad, but I had to remain on the couch yesterday, and today still, and I don''t want to put much weight on my foot for fear of the pressure opening up the cut again. So I didn't get in the papercrafting I wanted to this weekend. Oh well. I think I'm going to be able to make a few cards today though.

I hope you have a great day!

CAS-ual Fridays:Thank You (take 3!)

Here is my 3rd entry for the current CAS-ual Fridays challenge. The theme was thank you cards.

This card took me like 3 or 4 tries before I got it right. Twice I finished the card, and stamped the sentiment, set it back and looked at the finished card and noticed I had stamping "thinking of you" instead of a "thank you" since the challenge was for thank you cards. I was quite upset when I did this a second time. But I finally got it right, hehe.

So, for this card, I stamped leaves on punched circles, and adhered them to the card base with foam tape. I stamped a sentiment to finish the card off. But this card actually took longer then it seems. And just because I to do so many tries to get it right!

CAS-ual Fridays: Thank You (take 2!)

Here is my 2nd entry for the current CAS-ual Fridays challenge.

The theme was CAS thank you cards.

I used another kraft card base. I stamped a sentiment, then branches all around it.

CAS-ual Fridays: Thank You

Hello! I have my first entry here for the current CAS-ual Fridays challenge.
The theme this time was CAS thank yous.

I used the Happy Harlequin set from Papertrey Ink and one of the Think Big Favorites from PTI also.
So I masked and stamped the sentiment and shapes. And I used a kraft cardstock as the card base.
I love black and kraft together.

CASE Study Challenge #122

I'm here with an entry for the current CASE Study Challenge.

This was the lovely card, by Windy Robinson, to CASE.

I cased Windy's card's basic design and the whole "flow" of movement, which on her card, is the rhinestone flourish.

This card presented quite a challenge for me to case. I couldn't really think of anything to do, but I came up with this card.

And this card required quite a bit of work. I used a new Martha Stewart punch my sister gave me for Christmas. (thats what the leaves are).

I punched lots and lots of leaves, then stamped each of them using watercolors instead of ink. Then I arranged and adhered the leaves, adhering some flat to the card, and others with foam tape to add some dimension.

After most of the leaves were adhered, I painted some watercolors onto a panel of cardstock, trimmed it, and adhered it to the card. (and did some final trimming). I also added some more leaves were I thought there should be a couple more.

Then I stamped, trimmed, and adhered the sentiment and added a gem.

I'll be back tomorrow (Lord-willing!) with my entries for the current CAS-ual Fridays challenge.
