A Little Note :)

We are leaving for vacation tomorrow, so I haven't had much time to make cards or blog lately.

On Tuesday we found out that our van needed a new part that would have just cost too much to replace. So we had to cancel our trip.
So we needed a new van. Not for our trip, but just for everyday things.
Me and my dad went to look at a new (it was pre-owned though) van yesterday, and my dad loved it, so we bought it and decided we could go on vacation after all! Yay! So we are really busy getting ready to go!

We have to drive for about 12-13 hours tomorrow, and a couple more the next day, so I have to have my laptop charged, CDS packed, some DVDS, my MP3 player charged, etc. We put lots of stuff in the van already. I am going to my first Archiver's and I plan to share some pics here! I might be able to post some cards I've made if have photos of them on the laptop while I am away. I'm not too sure about wireless though. I also am kinda vlogging the trip. I thought it might be something fun to do.

Anyway, see you soon! :D

Patriotic Confetti

Hey there! Hope you've had a good week so far. We are very busy with the garden, me working, and getting ready to go on vacation. I'll be going to my first Archivers then! YES! I am so excited!

I submitted to some more design team calls, but nothing. :( Thats about 12 rejects now. Oh, well. I'll keep trying.

I have still found time to work on some cards! Yay! I made one for the current Simon Says Stamp challenge. The theme is patriotic! Here is my card:

I went with a patriotic color scheme, and some stars and other stamps that looked like they could be confetti. :)

The sentiment is popped up on some foam tape.

I should be back sometime this week with my entry for the current 10 Minute Craft Dash!

Blue Dots

Hello once again! I've got another card using Spectrum Noir markers! oh, these things are amazing! And the price is wonderful, and I love how you buy them in pack of coordinated colors.

I must first tell you one things about this card. I put two gemstones on each side of the sentiment. But when I put the card away for a bit before I took the photos, one of the gems moved. And I didn't notice it when taking the photos. So one of the gems is randomly on the card somewhere. You can see it if you look close. But I was able to photoshop them both out in the photo below.

For this card I stamped the dots on cardstock, punched them out, then colored them with my Spectrum Noir markers. I adhered them over the dot shapes on the card with foam tape. I tried to line them up as best as I could.

In the above photo you can see the messed up gems again. LOL. Just ignore them. :)

Cheerful Sunflower

Hi again! I've got a card using some amazing Spectrum Noir markers....my new fav thing to use on my cards! Here you go:

I just love using these markers! :) I simply started in the center of the flower, and colored outward until the flower was done.

I cut the flower out by hand. Even though it take awhile, I love cutting things out because the results are amazing!

I added a stamped sentiment overtop the flower.

Hope you like it!
