Shine Brightly

This is my last post tonight. Sorry for all the posting!  It's another card for the current Lawnscaping Challenge. This is my favorite entry.

I stamped and embossed a bunch of the lanterns. Then I applied some various Distress Inks overtop of the embossed lanterns with some kleenex and then I cut them all out.

I also added some splatters from some Distress Ink watercolors that I made.

I am soooo happy with this card! :)

Blue Skies Are Ahead

Bonjour! :) Hope your week is going good. I have had some time to craft, and I have a couple entries for the current Lawnscaping challenge, and the theme this time 'round is Distress Maniacs...to use Distress products on your project.

I made some watercolors with some of my Distress Inks.
I made all these colors with only 2 ink pads. They were Peacock Feathers (blue) and Picked Raspberries (pink). I combined some different amounts of blue and pink to create purple or a darker pink depending on what I wanted.

I adhered the balloon with some foam dots. I also added some splatters from the watercolors I made.

You can see some of the dimension here in this photo.

I love the sparkly, dreamy look of this one.

I die cut some triangles from some clear shrink plastic then shrunk them with my heat gun.

I added some glue and sprinkled on some glitter and let them dry before putting it all together.

Gallon, Quart, Pint

This Stamp-a-Faire card is for the Gallon-Quart-Pint challenge. The idea behind this is to use one color as your main color (gallon), a 2nd color, but not as much of it as your first (quart) and a 3rd color, used most for embellishing (pint).

I used the teal blue as my gallon color, the green as my quart color, and the deep purple as my pint color.

I love the butterflies here! Butterflies are so much fun to add to any card. :D

I wanted it to still be at least semi-clean and simple, and I think I achieved that.

I die cut the Paperclay into some squares which I stamped using some gold ink.

I adhered a sentiment over the top of the clay, and pushed down on the ends to make it look like the sentiment strip was wrapped around the card.
